ÎçҹѰ»¨ students featured in ‘College Tour’ series streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Students from all five campuses of the — ÎçҹѰ»¨ and A&M College, ÎçҹѰ»¨ at New Orleans, ÎçҹѰ»¨ Shreveport, ÎçҹѰ»¨ Law Center, and ÎçҹѰ»¨ Agricultural Research and Extension Center — are featured in season 11 of the streaming series, “.” The groundbreaking production from Emmy-nominated producers Alex Boylan (“Amazing Race” winner), Lisa Hennessy, and Burton Roberts is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. “The College Tour” travels the country telling the story of each college and university through the diverse lens of its students, giving the viewer an intimate portrayal of life on campus. Inspiring and motivating, the show serves as a vehicle to help students across the world connect with higher education, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future without having to travel anywhere.

Southern’s 30-minute episode is hosted by Desi Williams (“Survivor”) and features 10 students highlighting their unique experiences with academics, student life, healthcare, and more.

About the ÎçҹѰ»¨ System
The ÎçҹѰ»¨ System was created in 1974 by constitutional mandate, which fashioned it into the nation’s only system of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Presently, the System is composed of five institutions: ÎçҹѰ»¨ and A&M College (est. 1880), ÎçҹѰ»¨ Law Center (est. 1947), ÎçҹѰ»¨ at New Orleans (est. 1956), ÎçҹѰ»¨ at Shreveport (est. 1964), and the ÎçҹѰ»¨ Cooperative Extension Program (est. 1972), which became the fifth component of the System in 2001 and is now named ÎçҹѰ»¨ Agricultural Research and Extension Center.
