Local organization recognizes students, faculty at the 2018 Louisiana Role Models awards

Recently, the Baton Rouge Chapter of The Links, Inc. held its 2018 Louisiana Role Models awards. Several students, faculty, and alumni received awards and recognition.

SU School of Education students Jermesha Clark and Reilly Smith (respectively) were Julia Brogdon Purnell Scholarship recipients.

Damien Ejigiri, dean of the Nelson Mandela College of Government and Social Sciences, received the Louisiana Role Model for International Trends awards.

SU alumni Donney Rose and Micheal Foster (respectively) received the Louisiana Role Model for the Arts awards.
