Campus bookstore donates $10,000 in textbook scholarships to SU
ÎçҹѰ»¨ Bookstore operator Follett Higher Education Group has donated $10,000 to the University.

The annual donation is designated for Southern athletics and the marching band. Both will receive $5,000 in the form of textbook scholarships. The scholarships will be applied to textbooks purchased from January to December 2013.

“The savings and scholarships we provide ÎçҹѰ»¨ students demonstrate our firm commitment to providing access to affordable course materials,” said John Dyar, store manager at Southern. “The ÎçҹѰ»¨ Bookstore will continue to expand its offerings to ensure that we meet the evolving needs of our students and faculty.”

The SU bookstore is the official on-campus bookstore for Southern, offering products and services to students, faculty and the surrounding community, both in-store and online via effollett.com.

The bookstore is located at 500 Jesse Stone Ave., and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
